This Acceptable Use Policy applies to the Moosh website, account, licensing API, and Mac app. It protects the Service and the people who rely on it.
1. Use Moosh lawfully
You may use Moosh only in compliance with applicable laws and with the permissions granted by your operating system, employer, or device owner. You are responsible for deciding which files to review and clean.
2. Do not abuse the Service
You may not:
- access another person’s account or license without permission;
- probe, scan, attack, or attempt to bypass the website, API, authentication, or license controls;
- submit automated requests that overload or degrade the Service;
- forge, share publicly, resell, or misuse license credentials;
- interfere with signed entitlement snapshots, update verification, or release artifacts;
- use Moosh to conceal, destroy, or alter data you do not own or have permission to manage;
- upload malware or use the Service to distribute harmful code.
3. Respect the app’s safety model
Moosh is designed around read-only scanning, visible review, and explicit cleanup. Do not modify, patch, or wrap the app in a way that removes those safeguards or misrepresents what a cleanup operation will do.
4. Enforcement
We may rate-limit, suspend, revoke, or terminate access when we reasonably believe that this policy has been violated, a license is being abused, or action is necessary to protect the Service or other users. We may preserve relevant records when required by law or needed to investigate abuse.
5. Report abuse
Report suspected account, license, or security abuse to support@getmoosh.com. Do not include private license keys in an unencrypted public issue.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The updated version will be published here with a new updated date.
